Senior Community Service Employment Program

 
  

The Senior Community Service Employment Program is a work based training program for older workers.  It provides subsidized, part-time community service work based training for low-income persons age 55 or older. 

Eligible participants must be at least 55 and have a family income of no more than 25% over the Federal poverty level.

Program participants work an average of 20 hours per week and are paid $6.55/hr.They are placed in a wide variety of community service activities at non-profit and public facilities.
